Gerrard's time at Liverpool featured 710 appearances, culminating in 9 trophy victories. In a recent interview, he disclosed, "There were indeed several international clubs showing interest in me, with many stemming from Mourinho's involvement, such as Inter and Real Madrid, and it wasn't a one-time occurrence. Additionally, discussions with my agent about the matter took place around the time Schweinsteiger departed from Bayern."
